Drawing strength from this trust, ‘Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre’ (SUHRC) was conceived to redefine healthcare in Pune by establishing a new state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital. The hospital has the latest, state-of-the-art technology to assist the doctors. The hospital’s focus is on research and it has collaborated with the existing research centres of the University.
The Centre for Nephrology and Urology was inaugurated today, i.e. April 26th, 2025 at the Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre, Lavale, Pune by the Chief Guest, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum & Memorial in Pune was the site of a special ceremony on April 14, 2025, marking the 134th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Symbiosis Society organized the event. Maharashtra State Minister Smt. Madhuri Misal was the Chief Guest for the function. Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Chancellor, SIU presided the function. The museum, a repository of Dr. Ambedkar’s personal belongings donated by his wife, Dr. Savita Ambedkar, and curated under the direction of Smt. Sanjivini S. Mujumdar, serves as a vital tribute to his life and work.
